Behind Closed Diors

In 2019 we created Behind Closed Diors, a social-first film born out of a collaboration between Dior and celebrity style icon Olivia Palermo. The film offered a rare glimpse into Dior’s Haute Couture atelier, the Dior Heritage archives, and the seasonal runway show. Featuring Maria Grazia Chiuri (Dior's Creative Director), Olivia, and members of the Atelier, the piece showcased Olivia's experience exploring Dior's heritage.

A New Partnership

Olivia had just begun her partnership with Dior as a brand ambassador. Her company, Olivia Palermo Group, needed a standout film to launch the collaboration and elevate her introduction into Dior’s world.

A Very Tight Deadline

We had just one week to plan the overall visual direction and another week to edit, including multiple feedback rounds. The compressed timeline meant we needed an efficient, social-first workflow while meeting the high expectations of Dior and Olivia Palermo Group.

Fast-Paced Collaboration

Our producer filmed the experience entirely on iPhone, immediately sending footage to the U.S. for editing. I cut a first version within days, then collaborated with senior stakeholders at Beekman, Olivia Palermo Group, and Dior to refine the piece across multiple iterations—keeping pace with the tight turnaround.

Launch Day

The film launched on Olivia and Dior's social media channels, earning over 333,000 views on her post alone. It became the first major touchpoint in her Dior partnership, which continues to this day.

This was one of my first ventures into the global fashion space beyond streetwear and winter culture. It opened my eyes to the possibilities of blending luxury fashion storytelling with new digital formats.
